# Midiophilia collection sources

The library contains 100 selections: 55 complete popular web arrangements,
16 complete creator black-MIDI AUDIO editions, all 9 geometric patterns from
rin-w's pack, 9 full orchestral movements/pieces, and 11 creator tracks,
original demos and experimental studies. Exact SHA-256 hashes, credits and
source URLs are in `collection.json`. The former generic solo-piano classical
collection remains removed.

  plus Night on Bald Mountain. Carlos and Mahler private-use downloads are
  kept outside the public runtime bundle.

Web files are complete source-hosted free downloads. They are not represented
as public-domain or
Creative Commons editions where the source gives no such license. Embedded
arranger credits remain in the unchanged MIDI bytes. Source records include
channel and note counts, duration, retrieval date and the download URL.

The creator tracks retain their CC0 credits in `GENRE-SOURCES.md`; original
demos and studies retain their generators and credits in `genre-demos/` and
`experimental/`.

## SoundFont

`soundfont/TimGM6mb.sf2` is the unmodified, editable SoundFont from the official Debian source archive for TimGM6mb (MuseScore 1.3). Size: 5,969,788 bytes. License: GNU General Public License version 2 only. Copyright 2004 Tim Brechbill and 2010 David Bolton.

The original copyright record is retained byte-for-byte in `soundfont/COPYRIGHT.txt`; the complete GPL version 2 text is in `soundfont/GPL-2.0.txt`. The latter was copied from Debian `/usr/share/common-licenses/GPL-2`. `soundfont/soundfont.json` records the archive member, exact hash and attribution.
