About & setup
Choose a song or open local MIDI files (up to 20 files per session, 10 MB each, 50 MB total). Enable Audio to load the SoundFont, then Play. Local files stay in your browser until you leave or reload the page. Muting Audio keeps the playhead and graphics moving. Choose a visual preset at the top, use Next or the dice, then tweak its palette, trails, motion and light envelope while listening. Visual presets keep the current song playing.
Connect a MIDI keyboard or a virtual MIDI port from your DAW, then enable MIDI In in Settings. Hardware MIDI needs a supported browser on HTTPS or localhost. The on-screen pads play SoundFont piano when Audio is on, including while the song is paused. Hold a pad with touch, mouse or Enter/Space; release to let the note decay. Pad velocity and the shared output level affect its sound. Reset releases the pads and restores the visual controls. With MIDI In and Audio on, computer keys and incoming MIDI notes also play piano, with note velocity, channel filtering and sustain.
